About The Event

Bosco Grooves is a Western Dance competition. Teams bring high-octane performances rooted in Hip Hop, breakdance, robotics, or freestyle, with music and lyrics that are purely western — a celebration of global dance culture and athleticism.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Duration: 5 minutes for performance, plus an additional 1 minute for stage setup.
  2. There should be a minimum of 8 participants on stage throughout the performance.
  3. Exceeding the given time limit will lead to deduction of marks.
  4. Any form of vulgarity or inappropriateness will lead to disqualification of the participating school.
  5. The dance track must be submitted in a labelled pen drive to the host school at the Registration Desk on the day of the event.
  6. Participants are requested to keep a back-up of their track at all times.
  7. A school representative (not the choreographer) must be present at the music system/sound console during their respective school's performance to avoid any inconvenience.
  8. The host school will not be responsible for any kind of technical glitches during the performances.
  9. Participating schools must bring their own props for the performance. Use of at least one prop is necessary in the performance.
  10. Music and lyrics should be purely western. At least two of the following dance styles must be included in the performance: Hip hop, breakdance, robotics, or freestyle.
  11. The choreographer/trainer will not be allowed to enter backstage nor should they be present at the light and sound console.
  12. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
