About The Event

Bosco Intelligence is an inter-school robotics model-making competition for Class 5. The "Intelligence" category is designed to encourage creativity, innovation, scientific thinking, and practical application of basic mechanical and electrical concepts. Participants are required to create a robot model using commonly available household or recyclable materials. The robot may demonstrate at least one simple action or movement (optional).

Rules & Regulations

  1. Duration of the event is 1 hour — 55 minutes for constructing the model and 5 minutes for presentation and demonstration.
  2. Models should preferably be lightweight and portable.
  3. No materials will be provided; students must carry all the materials required for the event.
  4. Size of the model should not exceed 3 feet.
  5. Participants must complete their model within the allotted time.
  6. The robot must be handmade by the students.
  7. The use of coding/programming to operate the robotic model is not permitted.
  8. The model may demonstrate any one functional activity (optional) such as: a. Lighting an LED/bulb, b. Sound activation, etc.
  9. The entire model, including the designing, painting, decorating, and the working mechanism (fixing the LEDs, sensors), etc. must be completed during the event within the allotted time.
  10. Participants should be in their school uniform.
  11. The decision of the Judge will be final and binding.
