BOSCO ORATION

About The Event

Bosco Oration is an inter-school individual speech competition for Classes 4 and 5. Participants select and deliver a memorized speech or excerpt by a public figure, or by a literary or movie character, complete with appropriate costume and confident stage presence.

Rules & Regulations

1. Duration of the event is 2 + 1 = 3 minutes.
2. It is an individual event.
3. The language of the speech should be English only.
4. The speech must be memorized and delivered.
5. A speech or an excerpt of a speech delivered publicly by a public figure or a speech by any literary or movie character must be selected and orated.
6. The costume should be in accordance with the character selected.
7. The speaker should maintain eye contact with the audience.
8. A printed copy of the speech must be submitted to the judge(s) on the day of the competition.
9. The decision of the judge(s) will be final and binding.
