BOSCO TALE WEAVING

About The Event

Bosco Tale Weaving is an inter-school story writing and illustration competition for Classes 4 and 5. Participants craft a short story within 200 words accompanied by an original illustration on the cover page, on one of the given themes.

Rules & Regulations

1. Duration of the event is 1.5 hours.
2. Participants have to present a story within 200 words along with the illustration on the cover page on any one of the given themes.
3. The themes are as follows: i. Space Rockets and Planets, ii. The Supernatural World, iii. Underwater Fantasy.
4. There will be negative marking for exceeding the word limit.
5. The illustration made should be original and not copied from any other source.
6. Participants will be judged on creativity, idea mapping, writing and drawing skills.
7. Materials allowed are — Pencil colours, water colours, oil pastels, pencils, erasers and scales only.
8. Materials not allowed are — sharp objects, glue, fabric paints, acrylic paints, glass paints, oil paints, coloured spray bottles and any other harmful colouring items.
9. Participants should mention their Name, School and Class at the back of the cover page.
10. Participants should bring his/her writing materials; only writing and drawing paper will be provided by the host school.
11. Participants should give a suitable title to the story.
12. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
